Genesis
Starting from Susan Sontag’s reflections, the project aims to reflect on the concept of photography as a gesture of power and control over the world that one wants to capture and the other world that is created following the ‘click’.
The work stages the creation par excellence, the one described in Genesis. The creative power of the divine word that calls into existence what it says is juxtaposed with the creative power of the shot and the full and immediate realization of the Polaroid: «God said: “Let there be light!”. And there was light.» [1] Black and white, light and darkness. The work generates two worlds, the external one, the world outside the photographer, and the internal-intimate world of the photographer, domestic. Six days in twelve shots to enclose the creation of another universe.

The Principles of Classical Dance
The Principles of Classical Dance invites viewers to observe the ethereal dance of photons from natural and artificial light captured through the lens of analog photography. Embracing the unpredictable nature of the chemical reactions in Polaroid film, this project presents six monochromatic shots.
Each shot represents one of the fundamental positions in classical dance for the execution of all movements (first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth), each holding the potential for visual and performative developments.

Fortunate Islands
The triptych is inspired by the poetry of Fernando Pessoa: it represents the fortunate islands, utopian places. They speak to the belief in the advent of a better era founded on peace and universal prosperity. These images reflect hope and the patient anticipation that sustains it: a representation of the human experience.
